A Note from the Festival Producer (in english)
Hello,I am Yeji Kim, Planning Producer of the 10th Mosaic Festival.
From the moment a work first enters the stage to the moment it comes down, countless hours of dedication and effort accumulate behind it. Throughout this festival, I was able to witness how clearly each participating artist’s concerns and passion were reflected in every part of their performance.
The material presented here brings together audience responses to the work, including both positive impressions and suggestions for its further development. Rather than reducing these responses to numerical scores or averages, we have organized them while preserving the audience’s original language as much as possible, so that each artist may interpret and reflect upon them in their own way.
For some, these responses may point to areas for further development; for others, they may remain as meaningful memories. There is no single correct way to interpret them, nor is there any reason for an artist’s own judgment to be overshadowed by external evaluation. This festival has always valued diverse attempts and failures, and we believe that this process itself contributes to the growth of artists.
Especially for artists who are exploring new paths beyond the boundaries of school, we hope that encountering perspectives from outside their own practice can offer an opportunity to look at their work from another angle—not to replace their own questions, but to deepen them.
